Patrick D. Thomas

Patrick has been a licensed CPA since 1995.  He graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He is licensed in both Louisiana and Texas. Patrick earned the title Professional Financial Specialist (PFS) in 2002. This credential is  awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Patrick's emphasis is in business, individual and estate tax planning and preparation. His experience allows him  to develop financial accounting strategies to help his clients achieve their individual and business goals.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).  Patrick is an active member in his community having served on multiple board of directors.

Benjamin A. Miller

Ben has been a CPA since 1995, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University in 1991. Ben is licensed in Louisiana.  Ben's emphasis has been tax and management advisory services, assistance with estate and tax planning, attestation services, litigation support, client representation before various taxing authorities and small business consulting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and former and current officer and board member of various entities and organizations.

Daniel W. Carpenter

Daniel received his Certified Public Accountant license in 1994, after graduating with a  Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University in 1990.  Daniel is licensed in Louisiana.  Daniel is the Director of the firm's audit department. His responsibilites include tax, management advisory services, estate planning, attest and accounting services and small business consulting.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA).

Robert M. Earnest

Bob has been a CPA since 1985, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University - Shreveport in 1980.  Bob is licensed in Louisiana and Texas and achieved the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst in 1997. Bob's scope of duties include tax and management advisory services, business valuation services and litigation support, client representation before various taxing authorities, professional service firm consulting, and small business consulting.  His primary areas of practice are associated with medical or dental practices, and professional practices and is  involved in all aspects of these businesses, from formation to consultations during business existence to ultimate sale of practice. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). Bob has served as a current and former officer on various not for profit entities.

Peter M. Bratlie

Pete is a principal in our firm with over thirty five years of experience. His college education is from The University of Tulsa and Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Pete received his Louisiana CPA license in 1976 and has received the designation of a Charter Global Management Accountant. His practice comprises assisting clients with their tax needs including preparation of returns and tax planning.  In addition to tax he has been active in the field of forensic accounting, by assisting Attorneys with a variety of cases.  He has been qualified as an expert in court seven times including three times in Federal Court and four times in District Court. Pete has remained active in the community serving on a variety of boards and in various positions with his church. In addition, he serves or has served on committees with the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, as well as being a member of both institutions.

Shannon Land Robertson

Shannon graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in May of 1999 with a Bachelor in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.  She went on to receive her Master of Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University in November of 2000.  Shannon has been working in accounting since 1998 and received her certification as a Certified Public Accountant in 2010.  Shannon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Callie R. Jamison

Callie has been with the firm since 2003. She became a licensed CPA in August 2009 after graduating from Stephen F Austin State University in 2007 with a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Amber R. Burns

Amber graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance in December of 2008. She became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in April of 2010.  Amber is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Kyle Buzzanca

Kyle joined the TMCE family in August of 2011.  He is a lifelong resident of Bossier City and graduated from Airline High School in 2006.  From there, he attained his associates in General Studies from Bossier Parish Community College and transferred to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to complete his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Accounting.  At ULL, he was the Vice President of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP), an international organization for financial students, recipient of the Rayne State Bank scholarship, the highest awarded scholarship to accounting majors at the university. Kyle also was a project leader of the BAP Gold Challenge which won at the national level against over 200 other chapters.

Kyle's career goals are to specialize in tax and financial planning.  We look forward to watching his career excel.

Bryan Ardis Robison, II 

Ardis graduated from Centenary College in May of 1969 with a Bachelor of Economics and additional college education from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.  Ardis has been working in accounting since 1974 and received his certification as a Certified Public Accountant in 1980 and has over thirty seven years of experience.  He is licensed in Louisiana and Texas.  Ardis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).

Theresa Bolton

Theresa is the Administrator of TMCE, L.L.P. and has been working in the IT and Accounting fields for over 25 years.  She is a graduate of Woodlawn High School and studied accounting principles at Bossier Parish Community College.  Theresa joined the firm in January of 2003 as an IT/Bookkeeper and was promoted to Office Administrator in 2004.  She is experienced in payroll tax preparation, financial statement compilation and tax preparation. Theresa is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.  She also enjoys wildlife and loves catching a moment to watch the hawks and ducks that frequent the trees and pond at our office building in Shreveport.

Tammy Worsham

Tammy joined the firm in October, 2003, after working for 20 years for a small CPA firm in Center, Texas. Tammy started for the previous firm as receptionist, processor and bookkeeper and progressed to providing monthly accounting services from payroll to financial statements as well as all types of income tax preparation.   She also took several classes to train clients in MAS90 and Business Works software as well as working with Quickbooks and assisting with other software occasionally.

Christy is our tax return processor and our receptionist.  As Receptionist, in our Shreveport office, she will greet you with a big smile and help you find your way to the correct person in the office.

Eunice Taylor

Eunice has been in the accounting field for many years. She started in accounting as a data entry clerk and now enjoys working as a bookkeeper.  She also enjoys mini trips with friends and family. And her grandchildren are very important in her life.

Melissa joined our firm in December of 2009. She is the receptionist for our Center, Texas office. She also does bookkeeping and tax processing for the firm.

Ashlie Thompson

Staff

Ashlie graduated from Ashford University in September 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She joined the firm in 2011 and has been working in accounting for 1 ½ years. Ashlie is experienced in payroll preparation, payroll tax preparation, sales tax preparation, financial statement compilation and tax preparation. She is currently on track to graduate with a Bachelor in Accounting in January 2013.  Ashlie is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Brandon Tice

Brandon received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alabama and was involved in a number of career fields until 2010 when he decided to return to school and pursue an undergraduate degree in accounting from LSUS.  He is currently interning for TMCE and honing his skills while finishing his degree.
